CI-Net Webmail and Anti-spam Server
Webmail gives CI-Net customers access to their email from any web browser, anywhere in the world. Our Anti-spam service uses heuristic scanning techniques to quarantine (most) unsolicited commercial e-mail (aka UCE, or 'spam') into a holding area.
POP/IMAP Users
Customers with CI-Net hosted mailboxes can access their Webmail and Anti-spam through one combined interface. Captured spam will appear in a 'Spam' foldeer. Please enter your username below to begin.
NEW! We now have a new and improved webmail service which should be faster and more reliable than the old one, as well as looking better and being easier to use. The old service is still available, but will be discontinued shortly, so please let us know if you have any issues with the new service.
NB If you want to set up an out-of-office / annual leave auto reponse message or want to amend your email filters, you'll need to log into the Portal.
SMTP Feed Customers
Customers who user our anti-spam service but have their own mail servers or have a third-party mailbox provider can access their spam holding area and select emails to be released for delivery.
SMTP Authentication
Email customers who wish to use our SMTP (outbound) mail servers from other networks must enable SMTP authentication.
Click here for instructions on how to configure your email program to use SMTP authentication.
Some ISPs intercept all outbound e-mail connections and forcibly redirect them via their own e-mail servers. To avoid this issue we recommend that customers who regularly send mail via other networks configure their e-mail software to use port 587 (aka "submit") for SMTP instead of the default port 25. Please note that SMTP authentication is mandatory when using port 587.
Mailing Lists
We provide Mailman-based email lists for our customers. The web interface allows list members to easily manage their subscriptions, and list administrators to handle moderation requests and tweak their list's configuration. Mailing list archives are also available.

This service is for CI-Net customers who have broadband (eg ADSL) connectivity through another provider and allows them to collect their email via dialup/ISDN when their broadband connection fails.
